I have bit the blogging bullet! I've always been against the idea of starting my own blog. I was too busy, and the blogging world had already become too saturated. Yet, over the past year I found myself reading, and becoming a daily follower, of various fashion and lifestyle blogs. After coming up with a few blogging topics of my own, I decided to take the plunge!
Flash forward to my sophomore year. I completed two semester-long internships at a major news broadcasting company, and learned a tremendous amount. Working in the media industry is like a real life twitter feed. It's continuously sending out new information, and you have to be able to keep up. Although I love New York City, and had an amazing two years at FIT, I couldn't see myself having a future career in fashion. Instead, the news industry has captured my attention, specifically political news. What better city to delve into the heart of politics than Washington D.C?!
The title of this post comes from the first sentence of Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities. Will it be a wise or foolish decision to enter the blogosphere? Keep reading to find out!
Best,
Theresa
